New Take on Pizza

Postby jbullard1 » Wed Apr 10, 2019 5:35 pm

In an effort to cut down on breads some and continue eating pizza I have started using flour tortillas as a crust. Makes a great thin crust.

I have to watch the carbohydrates so anything that lessens how much bread I eat is great. The problem with tortillas is that often times they are way higher in carbs than a bun, two slices of bread, or a crust. It looks like you get less, but as far as carbs go, it is usually the opposite. :(

Don’t know much about the carbs it has, but I know that it looks good! Definitely will be trying it out.

If it wasn’t so late, I’d post the recipe for the cheesy zucchini pizza crust I made last night. I thought it was really good. Stand by.....
