Sunday Oct 21 did not AM. Got home late in the afternoon so decided to hunt the farm stand. I do not like to hunt there to much. Got in stand about 4:30 and sat till dark. I did not see anything.

Monday Oct 22. Hunted at Deep Creek, the north creek stand. Was in stand just before day light, I did not get settled into the stand good before I heard the hogs grunting. I could hear them a long time before I could see them. When they finally worked their way into view it was the black sow and her babies. They were across the creek from me, and went out into the pines. To far for a bow shot. I sat till about 9:30 but did not see or hear anything else.

Tuesday afternoon I hunted the north creek stand on Deep Creek Hunting Club. I did not see anything. It was hot and still, no air moving. Only deer I saw were on the road coming home.

Wednesday I had some things to do early so I went to hunt midday. It was hot, again, I sat for over 2 hours. I did not see anything, I had hoped to get there earlier than I did. I hike in to my stands on Deep Creek, and hiking out I bumped some deer feeding under an oak close to where I park.

Didn't get to make a morning hunt, had to do Fire Dept business. Made another midday hunt. Was in the stand by 10. Saw a small buck across the creek just before 11. He appeared to be alone. Looked to be the 4/5 point I have on camera. After I hunted I got down to see if I could find anywhere to cross the creek, with no luck. The beavers have it damned up and it is deep. I will have to come in from the opposite side.
