Timber tall makes a real light climber. I can go forever with it on my back, but it is not a comfortable as my API or Ole Man.

Nothing heavier out there either!

They are quite comfortable but get the bow hunting attachment.

About 25lbs but can't beat the comfort. I have 2 an old one and new model. The old one is a bit heavier. From what I understand treelounge is closed. The last 2 I bought I actually picked up used one for $100 & $150. One got stolen a couple years ago though.

yep they're closed. From what I've heard after the founder died the family lost interest. You can still find some used ones on Craigslist and such.

I just bought an api hi point for thick tight places. it only weighs 20 lbs (about twice that of a scoped gun), and is the easiest stand to carry long distance that I've ever owned. Its about half the price of the Summit, if price matters.

Take a look at my classified ad...these new summits are 20lbs....(about 7 lbs lighter than the original Viper) and very comfortable...easy to tote too if you pack it right...

I just picked up a Summit Goliath SD Thursday. I just got to try it today and I love it. I've never been a fan of climbers bc I had an Old Man Grand Vision when I was like 15(2000ish) and it slipped and just didnt feel sturdy at all. I'm a large fella 6'4" 325 so I opted for the larger size. Its very comfortable, I didnt sit in it but about 30 minutes but I didnt get the slightest feeling of being uncomfortable. I'm pretty weary of hieghts and it didnt bother me at all standing up and turning around in the stand.
