I prefer Federal unless you are going for the good stuff. The Federal bulk ammo is good stuff. I like the Federal Auto Match bulk box the best.

The bulk Remmy and Winchester stuff is crap.

You would have to have some deep pockets to shoot Tenex on one of our squirrel hunts.

LOL. We have a pretty good shot to kill ratio when we are actually shooting at the squirrel. But, there are probably 20 shots fired at other things to every 1 shot at a squirrel.

JB they fire a dozen or two rounds at the tree or any nests around even if no one ever sees a squirrel. That is how they attempt to flush out a possible treed squirrel.

The squirrel of course may not even be in that tree. Ammo makers love the QSMA crowd.

Oops, forgot to answer the thread question. I won't shoot anyting but CCI when squirrel hunting with my .22, which I do a lot of. They make great rounds. I have to concur with the all wise, all knowing Bullie on the Remmy and Win rounds. Not always reliable in the .22 caliber.

 Now, you really don't know that for sure as you were the only one with a .22 on the hunt and you didn't like shooting your bullets. It's pretty much true...but, you are just operating on hearsay. ;)
