We hunted some private land in Hernando this morning. Petey was on fire and Jiggs didn't do too bad either.

Naw...that ain't Carl.

That is my brother in law Harvey. He had an interesting thing happen to him today. Jiggs had a squirrel in a tree with holes on both sides. One hole was about 4 feet off the ground and the other was about a foot high. I was sticking a stick in the high hole and could feel the squirrel. Harvey told me to come around to the other side and give it a try. About the 4th time I joooged that squirrel he gave up the tree and jumped out right in front of Harvey and up the tree it went. Harvey was watching Jiggs try to get back in the hole on his side and telling her, "There it goes!!" when one of the other guys shoots the squirrel. Harvey looked up just in time to catch a squirrel across the lips. It knocked his cap off, left hair on his glasses, and he said it bloodied his lip a little. At least that is what is sounded like through all the whimpering...

It was good of them to warn you. We just watched this one fall. It seemed just like any other falling squirrel for the biggest part of its way down.
