They are hitting em hard

Postby huntall » Mon May 07, 2012 2:21 pm

I put a camera on a salt lick a week ago to see the activity
on it and got a lot of pics. I am getin pics of does and bucks.
The bucks are forming horns, but I have not seen any brow tines yet.
I refreshed all the licks and have cams on 2 licks.
One of the bucks is coming in about twice a day.
If yall have not refreshed your licks it is time to get it
done!

thx for the reminder... will do that this weekend..

I've always noticed the does start hitting the licks hard right before they have fawns, and when they are nursing the fawns.

I pulled the card to see how they are hittin the lick and I had 304 pictures in 2 weeks on one lick!
I cant belive how they are hittin them!
The thing I cant believe the most is that most all of the deer are bucks!
