Public Waterfowl Hunting Question

Public Waterfowl Hunting Question

Postby dunalf05 » Wed Jun 27, 2012 10:39 am

Is it possible to hunt waterfowl in Northern Miss with out access to a boat? I have very limited equipment. Mostly am looking for a way to shoot a few ducks for my lab to retrieve without buying into a high priced club.

There are not many places that I am aware of, except the "dropzone" down at coldwater, and I think it gets hammered pretty hard during the season.

Don't know what part of northern Ms. you talking about but there are some area's at Malmasion WMA in Grenada Co. that can be hunted without a boat as well as O'Keefe WMA around Lambert in Quitman Co.
