This Is a VERY Large Arachnid I just took pics of

This is the belly this spider is 3 1/2 inches wide

Sorry for the poor quality pics, I should have taken the tripod with me but it was a one mile,walking, round trip for these pictures and I had 3 dogs with me that upset the spider several times :D
I did get some needed exercise.

LOL!!! I almost walked right into one. I was taking photos of mushrooms,walking around with my eyes on the ground. I was about to walk between two trees. Looked up just in time. He had his web just about head high! :shock: They are kind of pretty in a weird sort of way.

Whew! Glad I saw your post Terry. I was about to post a photo of one.
