QSMA/Break-Away Outdoors Hunt this weekend

Postby Bullie » Mon Jan 28, 2013 7:59 am

As some of you know, I put on an annual hunt/fundraiser for a Mississippi based children's charity. This year I have teamed up with Break-Away Outdoors (http://breakawayoutdoors.org/) to put together a hunt with our local Palmer Home. Break-Away Outdoors is a 5013C rated non-profit organization that provides outdoor adventures for children who would not otherwise have that type of opportunity. I am really excited to play a small part in what this organization does for the kids in our state. I am especially excited this year as we will be taking 15 local kids, kids we know, on a squirrel hunt this Saturday, February 2.

I try to provide these hunts and a meal at no cost to the organization or the participants, but, I am a school employee just like you guys and it costs a good bit of money to make this hunt and the meal happen. I know everything is tight because I live in your world, but if you can spare a few dollars to help me and my organization (www.qsma.org) make this happen for the kids at Palmer Home I would be very grateful. Any monies I collect beyond the cost of the food will be donated to Break-Away Outdoors. I appreciate anything you can do.

Thanks,

Mark Smith
