Small Game & Varmit hunting Talk

One more time

Postby glenn » Tue Feb 12, 2013 8:04 pm

We made another hunt this afternoon. We managed to get in about an hour and a half today, but that was long enough to wear me out. Shiloh had another really good day. We managed to kill 11 this time and had 2 hang up in the tree. We don't need to talk about the others she treed and we let get away.

That's probably one that was still alive when Shiloh got to it. She loves to kill them and then make sure they're dead. She doesn't chew them up, but she does break the ribs. Plus it rained here for the last 3 days. To answer your question though, 20 gauge.

You should have come and joined us. Your family is welcome to join us squirrel hunting any time. You don't have to wait for an invitation because this is it. I need someone to carry some extra shells for me anyway.

As for the weather, I call it dedication, my wife calls it stupidity. I'm guessing you agree with her. :)

I like seeing that kinda dedication in my QSMAers. There might be extremely low level officer position in your future if you keep working on them this hard.

I would be perfect for the job because I'm an extremely low level person. :)
