QSMA/MSDEER Quick Round

Postby Bullie » Sun Feb 17, 2013 6:28 pm

Jiggs and I made a short round this evening with GTK. We had a really good time. We hunted on his friend Scott's place. It was some good looking woods and only about 15 minutes from my house. So, even better. We turned loose at 2 and loaded back up about 4:40 so we weren't out there very long. Jiggs kept us moving and we only let one get away.

Jiggs knows I don't like to go out at night after these things so she treed this one in the daylight.

GTK jr. with what I believe was his first coon.

Not too shabby for a short afternoon round this time of year. I believe the boys had a good time. Hope we can do it again before the season runs out on us.

We had a blast! Thanks again for going with us. I know I had a good time, and the kids did too. Maybe we can sneak another hunt in. Sorry Aaron couldn't make it, but I know he was glad you kept him up to date with play-by-play texting.

I still need to retrace our steps and find the 25 round magazine full of bullets that my son dropped. :(

By the way, the older black man that lives by us, wanted the squirrels, but he couldn't believe I was giving them too him. He kept asking "how much".

His son or grandson that was with him asked the old man suspiciously "what you gonna do with those things". To which he replied , "cook a $#%**# fine supper son, I'm going to cook me a fine supper :D

You can tell that those boys are wood goat hunters by the looks on their faces. They both look mad about something or maybe like they need an alka-seltzer.
