Speaking of planting, where are you guys getting your iron clay peas? And for how much?

I have got iron clay peas at Rankin County Co-op ,but the price is usually a little higher there. Around $42-$45 for 50# bag.

I usually get mine at Brookhaven Milling. It was $38 for 50# last year.
Brookhaven milling also mixes their own summer plot mix that is great!
It has iron clay peas, soybeans, sunflowers, and sorghum in it.
I think I payed $42 a 50# bag last year.

I started clipping some plots so I could get the grass under controll.
This helps when I come back and disc it up, because getting the grass under control
Is very important with non roundup ready plantings.

Got both plots mowed. As soon as it dries I am going to start breaking ground about once a week for the next 3 weeks. By then it will be time to plant the iron clay peas.
