Prayers for my father

Postby buckcrazy » Sun Sep 01, 2013 9:33 pm

Guys as much as I am hurting right now please say a couple prayers for my father. My father passed away this evening at approx 6 o'clock after a long hard fight. He was never a quitter and fought till his body could fight no more. I have a huge hole in my heart right now and I will miss him very much. Words cannot explain the hurt I'm feeling. He was truly a great father, friend and hunting companion.

Man I am sorry to hear that. Myself and many others feel your pain, cherish the memories you made together and continue to live life to the fullest as he would want you to do. Sherrie & I will pray for you and your family. We offer our condolences.

buckcrazy, I know how hard it is to loose those who are so close to you. Your dad, had to be one fine Gentlemen, and Father. Celebrate his life, by doing what he enjoyed the most. Every hunt, every fishing trip, he will be there with you. And always remember, we will be together one day. You Can't Be A Becon, If You're Light Don't Shine.
Many Prayers, for you and your family.

thanks guys, my father was my best friend and hunting companion. I had a very close relationship with my father. Ive worked with him everyday since I was 15 years old. I just turned 38 years old Saturday. He was the greatest person ive ever known. A friend of his told me yesterday that when we hunted in Alabama a few years ago that the landowners were in trouble financially and my dad gave them a $10,000 check to help them with their bills. My dad never told me this. I guess it was just one of the selfless deeds he did. I felt a huge sense of pride when I heard that he did that. He was a tough guy but I always knew he had a soft side. He just didn't like for people to see it. I will miss him every single day of my life but I am lucky to have had him as my dad. He fought a valiant fight that we all thought he could win but I guess god had different plans for him. He was my best man at my wedding and will always be the best man to me. I love him so much and will do my best to carry on his legacy.
Thanks again guys!!

It's because he was such a wonderful father and friend to you that makes you hurt so much. I'm so glad you have wonderful memories to share with your children and grandchildren. I will pray for you....for peace and comfort. Your dad is fine now, and you will be in time, but for now we are all here for you.
