Saturday morning...

Postby rcbain » Tue Oct 01, 2013 9:13 am

Hunted in Zone 1 Saturday morning. Made probably 10 trees, killed 1 squirrel and let 1 get away. Lots of mast on the ground, but the squirrels didn't seem to stir too well.

The squirrels I've noticed are up in the trees eating the mast. Once the acorns and leaves are on the ground then it will be on!! We made a bunch of trees and seeing very little. Just yhat time of year.

Anytime out with your dog is amways a great time.. Good hunt Carl!!

I'm anxious to get started myself. Unless I travel I won't get to go for a couple more weeks. I'm glad both of you had good hunts. I'm hoping my dog hasn't forgotten everything she learned last year.
