SNAKES ALIVE!!!

Postby MikeA57 » Thu Oct 03, 2013 8:22 am

Just a reminder to be very careful out in the woods right now. We went to our property down near the river last weekend, got out of the truck and as I walked back to unload the tractor, I walked right past a good sized copperhead, about 2 feet away from him. My buddy had already gotten down there early and had bush hogged the area just a while before. My son's friend walked past him too but when he got ready to come back past him, noticed him. We saw one other copperhead that day and also a very large King Snake. (We likes them boys.)

Guess they were out enjoying one of the last warm days they could...

Yeah right. I'll leave them suckers alone after I am sure their dead. The only one I really hate, is the aggressive cotton mouth. The rest can live in peace.

Just ran to the Dollar General, in Benton, for Sherrie. Coming back a huge cotton mouth, jumped up from the road, and tried to bite the Buick LaSaber. Wish I had seen him sooner, he would be one dead snake.

The only good snake is a dead one.
