A busy weekend ahead!

Postby huntall » Thu Feb 13, 2014 7:45 pm

The boys and myself have a big weekend planned. We are going to set a bunch of traps tomorrow evening. Then we are going to squirrel hunt the rest of the weekend.
We have a few trees to plant, but mainly going to hunt.
Might even try to kick a rabbit up.

It came a big rain on the traps last night and we only caught one coon.
Maybe tonight will be better. The boys have killed a few squirrels though.

That's good. You used the Duke DPs? What did you use for "lure"?

Yep...duke dp and a few coilsprings and a couple box traps.
I use a little of everything. Sardines, honeybuns, and some kinda sweet smelling stuff that I ordered from f&t trapping. That sweet smelling stuff smells good enough to eat.

I get the f&t catalog, but only b/c my mom ordered a christmas gift from there once. I like honeybuns.
