I'm stuck!

Postby glenn » Mon Feb 24, 2014 10:57 pm

Saturday morning we killed 9 squirrels on the handicapped hunt. Yesterday Dustin and I killed 9 at our camp. This afternoon we went to a friends place, just Dustin and I again and yep, we killed 9 more. Don't get me wrong, I'm tickled, but it seems odd to kill 9 for 3 trips in a row. We almost had the tenth one today. Dustin shot one out that was still alive and he made it to a hole in the bottom of the tree just before Shiloh got him. She did get a little hair off of his tail, but he got away. That's the only one we have seen this week that escaped. We have had some trees where we never saw the squirrel, but we saw them they died. Again, Shiloh did an excellent job.

That's not a hog, it's a black bear.

Ok, it's not a real black bear, it's a silhouette. It will make you do a double take the first time you see it though.
