looking to purchase one. would like a 22 cal single cock style. i know the Benjamin and such are the tops but what else you recomend? mainly shooting practice with my girls and little squirrel hunting.

Have the Benjamin 22 and like it. But I believe the gamo and ruger are supposed to be really nice too. Mine is a little heavy for the kids though.

my son has the gammo in 177 caliber. It's fairly accurate.. The vibration on these air rifles will mess a scope up in a hurry ..

Still have the Benjamin 310 .22 that I got for my 7th Christmas and me and the boys still shoot it some. It is, let us say, an antique now. I'm sure it doesn't match up to the specs of the ones produced today but I know it well enough to put the pellet where I want it. I figure that's the point of it all...

Every site I visit says discontinued & do not know if will be back in stock. Was there problems with it, was it pulled by Crossman?
