New Scope

Postby BIGERN76 » Sat Aug 30, 2014 9:21 pm

A local gun store had a big sale on Nikon scopes today and I picked up a new Monarch 4-16x50 at a great price! It is the most money I have ever spent on a scope and I can't wait to get it mounted and try it out. If anyone has any experience with one of these scopes I would like to know what you think about it. And maybe some advise about this side focus do hickie.

Should be an excellent scope.

Make sure it fits now, don't wait till you get ready to sight it in.. Sometimes you will need higher mounts.

All the money I paid for a good scope and just saw on that do hickey that Nikon can't even print their numbers straight or keep them in order. It goes 80, 90, 100, then 8. And the dang 8 is sideways... :W:
