gtk, my place I had been hunting for the previous 14 seasons sold right around the first of October. It wasn't a big place but it was family owned and I pretty much had it to myself. It was sold before I even knew it was on the market and eventhough the new owners said I could go ahead and hunt the season, they were running dozers on the place nearly every time I got in a stand. Needless to say, by the end of the season the place looked like a park after they removed all of the heavy thickets and other cover on the place. They also bulldozed about 50 fruit trees I had planted over the year. So last season was without question the worst I've ever had. I didn't even get a look at a legal buck during the season. Things have worked out this year though that I was able to get into a new club on a property where I learned to hunt as a kid. Things are looking up for this season for sure.
