Is this one worth

$300.00 I think it is, opinions needed. No rust, pits, or scratches on wood.

I used one for 20 years. My son found this one. I told him to grab it quick. If he doesn't like it, I will give him his money back.

The 1 I had wasnt worth it. I would have to run a few clips thru it before I bought another. I threw it in the river. However, I had a friend who had 1 that always performed ok. Not real accurate but atleast would shoot and cycle most of the time.

When the 742 came out, everyone believed the more oil the better. Not so with the 742 (Jam Master). I ripped many a knuckle on the scope mounts trying to get shells out of mine until I learned that heavy oiling was the problem. It would gum up the locking mechanism on the slid. Is it worth it? I would say yes.

I miss mine. It doesn't help that my grandfather bought it for my father. But mine shot great. Not once did it jam on me. 1MOA rifle easily. It shot just as good if not better than the browning bar 30-06 that my dad bought me.
