I mesed up

Postby turrettoad13 » Wed Oct 22, 2014 11:51 am

I pulled one of my cameras to build a security box for it . It's one of those wild game inovations with the bottom door that dose'nt have a lock hasp . I managed to drill out the power push button :bash: . I tried hot wiring it but it will only stay on for 30 seconds . I'm looking for a replacement switch but no luck so far . Any of you home built camera gurus have any suggestions ? Thanks Toad .

Been readin yalls post for awhile but first post. I work with electronics and have a few wildgame cameras. I think the issue you are having may be due to the type switch. The power button on mine are momentary push button.( press and release to power up...press and hold to power down). If u hard wired...try applying power for 1 second then release...if you hold power it probably powers on then powers back off. Hope this helps.
