This baby is on the way as an early Valentine present for jbullard1

OVERVIEW:

Engineered to make three shots look like one. From extended-range big-game hunting to printing one-ragged-hole groups from the bench, no rifle delivers like the Model 700. And we're continually finding new ways to maximize our legendary action's inherent precision.

The Model 700™ Long Range combines the added stability of a 26" heavy-contour barrel with hard-hitting, long-action chamberings to stretch your lethal range.

In 30-06 caliber

KEY FEATURES:

Bell and Carlson M40 tactical stock – solid urethane stock, combined with aramid, graphite and fiberglass
Aluminum bedding block for added accuracy and an extra swivel for bi-pod
26” heavy varmint barrel with matte finish perfectly matched to its high-velocity caliber offerings
X-Mark Pro® externally adjustable trigger system set at 3½ lbs., and featuring super-tight tolerances and mirror-like surface finishes
Magazine capacity – four standard calibers, three magnum.

With the Viper Vortex 6x 20 scope this will make the 600 yard shot a lot easier on me...

Don't you think the deer are already at enough of a disadvantage? Seriously though it looks and sounds almost as sweet as Honey Bee. You lucky man!

I will put my cheap Savage Axis, against either one of them. The shooter has a lot to do with shot placement.

so right Terry
But at the ranges I shoot I need every advantage I can get.
The one on the right is the one i used on Dec 16th to take the 8 point at 480 yards.
Just fullfilling a dream I have

Jerry, you know I am joking with you. That is one fine rifle. You should knock um out of the park with that one. Every man's dream.

Jerry, enquiring minds would like a cost estimate on a set up like that. And please don't tell me if I have to ask the price, then I probably can't afford it. Lol

That's not bad at all. I imagine it's pretty heavy right?

Thats a nice weapon ! It should serve you well for your long range hunting. I love the 700 rifles but I'm not much of a long range shooter I try not to shoot much over 200 yds. My 700 .223 LTR is a tack driver and I love shooting it. Let us know how this beast performs.
