CZ .17 Hornet

Postby sidog » Sun May 17, 2015 6:38 pm

I had the 4x12x40 Vortex scope with nothing to put it on so I got the CZ .17Hornet model 527 and problem solved. Range reports to follow.

I'm going to the range in the morning and I will find out just how good she will do . The wood is beautiful on this one and the set trigger is crisp and light.

I got to see one in action this year varmint hunting and was very impressed. The little 20grain v-max running 3650 fps is devastating to critters.

4 shot group at 100yds. It was shootin a little over an inch high and a hair right but the wind was howling and I decided to wait for calmer conditions before I try to dial it in. Three shots were under a half inch and the one is 3/4". I have no doubt that I will be pleased with this little darling when I get it dialed in.

I cant believe how little the hole are I could barely see them with the spotting scope ? The recoil is not much more than a .22.
