Anticipation

Looks like after a half of a century of bow season openers and 73 bow kills I would be over the dreams and the anxiousnes of the first morning in the stand but it's not the case I thank god for my recovery and being able to participate in the sport that has been one of the biggest parts of my hunting resume I am so pumped 8 more days come on I am ready.

I am excited about bow season, and though I have had a little set back, I hope to be ready. I cracked a couple of ribs and can't pull my bow right now.

I know how y'all feel but shoulder problems is keeping me from bow hunting again this year but I'm still excided on opening day and waiting to read all about everyone's day in the stand. Good luck to everyone.

Sorry for you lady hunter I pray you get better soon I ha ve worked my tail off this summer with physical therepy on my shoulder and shooting every day 50 arrows minimum I am dialed in at 20yds I'll take his heart out my doctor said it would never happen I proved him wrong I believe most anything is possible if you believe in your self and approach it in a positive manner and dedication jv a crossbow would serve you well they aren't really that expensive. And are easy to cock even with a bad shoulder us young men of 60+ years have to know our limitations and use whatever means we can to reach a common goal good luck to all and remember aim small miss small
