Jv, The Bass I Caught

Postby terry08 » Mon Feb 22, 2016 6:36 pm

For a fast 20 minute meal for two. Fish and Fries, after filleting the Bass, I put them in a zip loc bag, with distilled water for a couple of days, or freeze.
I bring canola oil up to 340 degrees, add enough fish that the temperature drops to 300. Then let them fry until they come to the surface, and then let them fry for about 3 more minutes.
The Bass, is perfection and never like cotton.
Sherrie, said she didn't care if it was raining. Get your tail out there and catch some more.

Looks great and by the way I like bass but the wife won't eat it....you can usually catch a bass when you can't catch anything else

I fried Sheepshead fillets night before last! I had them in the freezer from my last trip to the coast. They are one of my favorite bay fish! We love bass also !

Looks like a 10 pounders filets ;). Lol. I love fried bass but my favorite would have to be fried flounder.

My favorite choice of fish, would be as follows. Red fish, flounder, shark, and tuna, in no particular order. Also specks, bream, white perch and cat fish. Actually anything that swims. Although I have always loved salt water fish above freshwater. But don't turn my nose up at any of them.

Tuna and Salmon are my least favorite with crappie, bream, bass and catfish being my favorite.
