Too many hens

Hens have burnt me the first two mornings gobblers are hammering on the roost not so much on the ground called in two Jake's yesterday this morn heard 10 or 12 gobble and saw about 50 hens hard to compete With the real thing and the woods are full of water Will get better

Yes it will get better as the season wares on and some hen get breed and start laying.

same scenario here. Gobbling like crazy on the roost, they fly down & shut up.. I had one workng too me this am, and hens come out between me & him, and they went straight to him. then they left the other way.. give them a week or so and he will be more apt to come to some calling

Yep had 3 gobbling this mnn but. Also had 7 hens roosting with them they flew down 75 yds from me never got closer tried to cut them off got busted going to give them a few days going perch jerking in the mnn
