No Bites

Postby terry08 » Thu Jun 09, 2016 3:31 am

Went to the lake Tuesday, and when I saw the tank trailer next to the lake. I knew they were not going to bite.
My friend who owns the lake, farms about 3000 acres of field corn. Every year, he plants several acres of Queen Ann sweet corn, and bi color, behind the lake for anyone in the community to pick and enjoy. He uses the lake for irrigation for the corn, said he had been running the pump all last week. So the bass slow down a little at this time. Good news is that I will have an abundance of sweet corn in about three days.
Not many farmers do this for their neighbors.
Thank you Harris Land And Cattle, for what you do for your neighbors.
