Anyone have any experience hunting the st. Catherine national wildlife refuge? I know it's mostly bow hunting with a small muzzleloader season that's why I posted here.

I've never deer hunted it, but have done some duck hunting and a little squirrel hunting. It has both big hills and bottomland. Watch the Mississippi rive gauge at Natchez because they close it at either 34, or 35 feet. At least the bottom land. It's full of hogs and they want you to kill them whenever you get a chance. Get you a map and make sure you know where you are because part of it is restricted and you don't want to get caught on that part. I would suggest spending some time on it before the season opens to find several options. It's a big place and a lot of it is hard to get to, lots of walking to get to the good places. I probably didn't help much, but that's about all I know.
