Been a rough 3 years but finally...

Whats happening in your neck of the woods ?

Been a rough 3 years but finally...

Postby buckcrazy » Mon Nov 28, 2016 7:04 am

Hey guys I haven't been on here to much in the past 3 years but I have checked in from time to time. As most of you may remember my father passed away 3 years ago and since then I have had a rough 3 years but I think Ive finally got most of the headaches out of my way and now I am in the process of trying to buy 140 acres of land. I made the offer on Wednesday and waiting to hear back from the owner. I am trying to sell a piece of property and if it all works out I will be the proud owner of 140 acres of some beautiful hunting land just south of Newton around the Rose Hill area close to where I'm currently hunting. Keeping my fingers crossed!
From what I hear the area has some decent deer and an overall good population but was wondering if anyone knows anything else about that area? Even if it doesn't it wont keep me from buying the land but it would be a nice added bonus.
KEEP YA FINGERS CROSSED FOR ME GUYS and ill keep ya posted ! :ylsuper:

I hunted a community outside of Newton, several years ago. It was over run with deer and very nice bucks, which I saw every time I went out. The property had not been hunted by anyone in years.

Thanks for the well wishes guys!

terry the place I am hoping to get hasn't been hunted in 3 or 4 years. The place is gorgeous! Hope this place has half the deer you saw over there.
Yes I still have the meat processing plant. Still doing good and have actually been changing things a bit and have actually upped my sales in the past year. So things are going good. Just took me a while to wrap my head around everything.

The counter offer is in and I should know something later tonight or tomorrow morning! Keeping my fingers crossed but won't get my hopes up if it doesn't happen.
