Whats happening in your neck of the woods ?

Jr scores!

Postby chadbragg » Sun Dec 04, 2016 3:15 pm

With the chasing I saw yesterday I decided to take jr for a quick hunt this morning. As soon as the rain stopped about 730 a spike came in to the plot and stayed feeding for about 30min, then a doe came out. The spike winded her and chased her all around the plot and out of sight. About 15 min later this one walked out and jr made a perfect 150yd shot using his 277 wolverine! ImageImage

Thanks! I was actually in the middle of replying to your post on my pic when he walked out. Yesterday my wife was gone and so was my dad so I set my GoPro up and took my own. It worked so good I used the same method today!

Grendel I'd say especially for longer range. The wolverine is a great round as well, I prefer it to the 6.8.

I have not yet tried the 6.8 or the 277.for some reason I love my 6.5 Grendel, It's heavy as all heck but it will shoot sub moa all day long.
