Back At It

Postby terry08 » Wed Dec 14, 2016 4:39 am

Had plans to be off from opening day until the last day. It was working out fine until I got a call Friday, on a job that had to be done if possible. Since the waning gibbous, moon phase begins on the 15th. I agreed to do the project on Monday and Tuesday. Worked 4 hours Monday, 6 hours Tuesday and was complete. Not bad time for a $ 2,000.00
project. When I handed the doctor the invoice. He said my lord Terry, I am a doctor and I don't make that kind of money. My reply : when I was a doctor, I didn't either. That's why I gave up my practice and went in the painting business.
Anyway, I am back at it. Hopefully no more interruptions.

That's a priceless response Terry. I'm back at it too. So glad to have some time off!

This NE wind is not user friendly. Been here since 5:45 and haven't seen a thing. Pulled the camera chip on the way in. Not one picture since Saturday.

So literally 5 minutes after I made my previous post on this thread, I saw this big 4 point I had gotten pics of and he was following 2 does. Then one of the does ran back toward the buck. THEN, I saw this other buck. As I was trying to size him up, this black shaggy dog goes running across the field. Not mine. I knew I had to decide quick. I think I rushed my first shot and missed. He ran a few steps and was perfect broadside this time.

Maybe the black shaggy dog will find him for you. Good luck!

I would never shoot a dog. Buck was easy to find. The ground was painted red.
