Beautiful day

Whats happening in your neck of the woods ?

Beautiful day

Postby RoadRanger » Tue Jan 03, 2017 8:39 pm

I'm on vacation this week so I made a run up north to Eden where I hunt now. I walked the land the first half of the day and sat the last three hours in a shoot house. Didn't have much luck but do you have to kill one to be "lucky"??

I found a tree that I actually got inside and could stand up in. Never seen one that big hollow. Also the delta sunsets are unreal.

God's gift to man. Beautiful pictures Ranger, but be careful getting in those trees. I have heard tell of men climbing in them to get out of bad weather, only to never be seen again.

Beautiful pictures. What non-hunters do not realize is that hunting is about way more than killing something. Hunting brings us closer to God and the world he created.

Mr.Terry I actually will keep this spot in mind just for that purpose. Ha ha. It has a beat down trail that walks right past it which is how I found it to start with

Cool pics of the tree and a beautiful sunset! I found a big hollow tree like that last week while hunting Sunflower WMA. It had 2 entrances and a beautiful view of a hardwood bottom. I marked it on the gps as "shelter tree". I may have to visit it next time it's flooding and watch both doors. lol
