I have abut a 5 acre field on road front of my property that is not far up road from my house but is hidden from road by thick treeline. I let front of the field grow up and is between waist high and head high. I planted 2 acres on back side of field. Planted heavy with wheat. 80 acre thicket behind the plot so I think it's going to be good.
I also built a nice shoot house on front looking over field and plot.
Best part about it is I can be in my stand in minutes from door of my house and without disturbing any deer getting to stand.
This will be good evening stand to go to after work.

Re: New plot
Sounds perfect. I have a plot on the farm like that. It's been productive over the years.

Re: New plot
Must be nice being about to just about walk out of the door and be in stand in a few minutes, I have a little over a hour drive to get to my hunting land.
Sounds like a perfect spot to hunt
