I have been running cameras all summer, doing a survey on one property. I am quite impressed with several I have showing up regular, and hope to get my chance at one.

I have decided I'm not going to put an cameras out this year and just wait and see what shows up.
I do have a couple hunting buddies that are using a few of my camera's and have gotten a few good bucks pictures but have them in a area that to far for me to walk.

Yea your right I do love seeing the pictures and letting my hunting buddies put them where they want to I can still see what deer they getting on camera. Besides where they got the cameras is only about 1/2 &3/4 a mile so the same deer are probably roaming stands too

I like the cameras, especially here on the farm. It's exciting to see how far the herd has come over the years. Especially thinking back to the time there were no deer here. I often think how excited my late FIL would be to know we kill deer right on the farm.

LadyHunter I bet your FIL would be amazed that how the land has made progress....a lot of hard work and time went into it.

He would be, he was the one that taught me to love the farm. He encouraged Doug to take me hunting and fishing, teach me how to run the equipment, all at a time when women simply didn't do such.

We are the same way. I can remember when we got excited if we saw a doe on our property. Now I can watch them grazing at the edge of the woods while I’m weed eating. I love the cameras though. They really tell me a lot and I have gotten some of the coolest pics of all kinds of animals.
