Remington 870 12ga Choke ?
Wondering what the best choke tube is for a 870 with OO Buckshot and thought I'd get some opinions before running out and buying them. I have never shot buckshot out of this gun before. I'll be shooting 3" shells out of it.

I use a full choke with mine for OO Buckshot, and it works fine.

I agree with Curlyjack on the full choke

thanks guys, I'll try a full and see what kind of pattern I come up with. What kind of distance do you guys pattern at? I was thinking 40 yds would be suffice

I think I pattern my at about 20 yds., I think it just depends on how far you plan on shooting a deer with it.

Mainly wanting to use it for tracking purposes and maybe some hunting deer and hogs.
I've never been duck hunting in my entire life and I have no interest in it. I love deer to much!
Where I live there is duck hunting in my backyard pretty much and have people invite me every year but I always choose deer over ducks. I do have a few wood ducks in the creek on the property that I would like to shoot, only to have them mounted for my house when I build it.
