Did you have to get a permit to hunt there?

its part of the arkabutla corp land, and under their jurisdiction...all that should be required is a license and both stamps, unless it has recently changed...call them or check out their regs online..

We used to hunt there in college, but that's been; omg, 15 years ago..... Ouch!

I would call the Arkabutla Field office.

I love the resourcefullness of the internet and all, but what ever happened to people picking up the phone and calling the game wardens about what is public and what they gotta have? And it seems like people always do their internet scouting right before or during the season...Get out there in September like the rest of us and do some looking around...

P.S. From what I have been told, the drop zone don't hold any ducks anymore

well your wrong ew the drop zone holds more ducks than you and your september scouters could shoot.. whoever told you it doesn't hold ducks must have not scouted and been successful in December like I did.

Great!! Now you have all the people reading this going down there to hunt ...If you know where the ducks are on public land KEEP IT TO YOURSELF!!!!! Don't go advertise it on the internet...I hope you enjoy all the new guys you will have to fight for the spot you scouted and told about on the internet now...

Haha! +1 EW! I finding ducks is like finding turkeys...... once you find them, keep a lid on it!

i don't think it's selfish. When you put time and effort into scouting and then your duck hole is invaded, that makes for a crowded hunt
