Whats on your bass rod ? I have some "firewire" that is probably 3-4 years old on one of my bass rods, getting ready to replace the line on all of them..

I'll spool one of them up with 12 pound STREN mono probably, but will want something else on the other two.. Main strengths would have to be strength followed by castability

Power Pro...50# test that has a 12# test diameter. Love it

I tryed that braided spiderwire last year and HATE it I use 17pd. test on my bass Rod Love it Stren of course :ylsuper:

i use stren 17 pound ...best line ever in my opinion

i used 17 llb stren for years. i tried the firewire and loved it for my worm rod/catfish rod..

i use Berkley Trilene 100% Fluorocarbon 8lb on my ABU GARCIA CARDINAL 101 SPINNING REEl and love it

50# Spiderwire Stealth Braid on my frog/topwater reel, best braid I've ever used, 17# Spiderwire supermono and 10# Trilene XL on my spinning reel

Well i don't go out and just target bass but i do catch a good many while crappie fishing.....all i use most of the time is Mr. Crappie super vis yellow in 6# or 8# on my jig poles and spinning reels.

I use trilene big game 15# on everything except my finese reels. I use Highseas Fluorocarbon 12 # on them. I've caught big reds on that big game. It's some bad stuff.
