I know where a bunch of ducks are but we don't let people hunt them during deer season.

There had to be 200 on the pond I was hunting around last weekend.

I have no idea what duck is what but I did see quite a few mallards out there. And a bunch of annoying little birds that look like killdeer but have longer beaks. Those little boogers are loud.

I've thought about buying my stamps and killing a few on the way out from my deer stand.

There wasn't nearly as many on the pond this morning.... 40 maybe 50 at the most. But there was one weird bird. It'd dive under and come back up but only stick it's head out of the water for a few seconds then come on up. It looked like a very young bird and it never flew off the whole time I was there. Even after I shot a beaver with my 45-70 it stayed there.
These all looked like mallards this morning. And good lord were they loud, that dang beaver kept screwing with them and making them quack.

Dude, when you kill something like that you're supposed to be happy not looking like some peed in your cheerios that morning.

There are some very nice deer in that area, the one listed for Tom Sturgeon was killed outside of Lambert on Okeefe WMA.
