New Powder Horn

Had a new powder horn arrive today. ;) Came from South Africa...horn is South African Springbuck and the wood plug is South African Wild Olive. Not much longer than a flask so it will fit in a possibles bag.

sure would hate to lose that dude in the woods somewhere. I found a possibles
bag full of ruined stuff a few years ago, got a knife and the bag out of the deal
but that was about it.

nice horn by the way ... when you gonna post some pics of your collections

Sounds like you made out pretty good FC. Wonder how someone loses a bag though?
Have to see about a pic...have 3 horns from South Africa now.

JB this horn was made by Wilsa. We were both starting to get worried cause he mailed it the first part of July.

It came without a spout so I put a 35 gr. spout on it to be used with my little .40 longrifle. The 35 grs. is for critters...double it for deer. ;)
