Sorry for the poor quality but it is raining like hades here
I took 20+ shots and this was the best one

Come late rifle season this picture would not have been taken if the freezer was empty
A single shot from the 06 would have caused the old Granpaw to process another animal for the table
The range is right at 300 just a nice shot from the bench

Friends and family think Im off my rocker cause if its rainin, Im in the woods. I've seen alot of deer in the rain. Me and my daughter killed our first buck in the rain (my first deer). Plus I like the sound of it tappin on the stand..

If it's bad weather and I can hunt I'm in a stand
I have 2 that are heated so I can deal with bad weather as long as I'm warm and semi dry

I love to hunt on the rainy day too as long as it's not a downpour.

Yep, rainy days are my favorite, really prefer a little mist and lite sleet mixxed in, gonna be in the woods for sure then.

we got a small shower, and that was it.. hopefully we will get a good one in the next few days..
