2006-12-29473 views10 point with a 19" inside spread. I really didn't go to this spot to hunt that morning, I went to check my trail camera and decided to sit for a little while. I was just about to go home when I noticed a beaver in the pond behind me and decided I'd get rid of it before they did more damage to the pond levee. Just before I pulled the trigger I heard something going nuts in the ditch where my trail camera is and turned around to see a small 6 point come running out the ditch. I watched him for a few seconds and this one came out of the ditch on the trail of the 6 point. Didn't take me long to decide that I wanted this one.

My daughters first buck, I think i'm more excited than she is, he's got 11 points with good mass, and tine length, he came out at just over 200 yards quartered slightly towards her and she shot him where his neck and shoulder met, he instantly dropped where he was standing, the 95 grain ballistic silvertip stopped under the hide on far shoulder, needless to say both shoulders were to damaged to keep. We're very proud of her, she done a great job.

I had just gotten back from my parent's house for Christmas and made a mad dash for the woods as quickly as I could get into my hunting clothing. I was in the field for maybe 30 minutes when 2 does rand out followed closely by this guy. I thought I'd missed at first because he didn't even flinch when I shot. Found him about 40 yards from where I shot him.
